There are quite a few of them, but i have one in particulare i would like to rant about here.
It is called Zazzle. What zazzle is, is a POD that lets anyone open up a online clothing store.
It's not hard to do, what it actualy is, you create your own picture design and/or, saying or whatever image you have in mind and put it on the clothing for sale in your store.
When someone purchases your product the Zazzle company is the one that prints out the designs and ships it out.
Now like i said, you can make extra money with this site, but your not going to get rich or anything. You get paid by commission. You can set the price of your clothing and commission, but that would make it hard to get people to buy clothing from your store.
I have made quite a bit of money selling my clothing on my site. You can choose to be paid in paypal or check. Not only that you are free to design your storefront anyway you like, and also promote it the best way you can.
Zazzle has alot of promotional tools you can use within the site as well. You can even turn your store into an RSS feed if you wish.
You can design a hoard of different types of clothing from;
- Women/men clothing
- children clothing
- Custom shoes
- Pet clothing
- Posters
- Coffee mugs
It will take alot of time, effort, and patience to start getting people to your site, but remember it will happen as long as you keep going at it. I put new things on my store about every week.
